“We went to tastings at several bakeries before settling on Dallas Affaires to do the cake for our daughter’s wedding. Pretty much everywhere we went was similar in pricing for the amount of cake we were requesting, so I really can’t say much about that, all wedding cakes are expensive. But when we did the tasting, oh, my, gosh! It was so hard to decide what flavor we wanted, they were all so fabulous. We ended up with the champagne chambord frosting with sliced strawberries between the layers and it was the best cake I’ve ever tasted. My daughter wanted an elaborate design on it that she had sketched out and wanted a diamond like embellishment on it that they added and it was just beautiful. They delivered it and set it up and we couldn’t have been happier with the final result.”

“I was in heaven as soon as I stepped in the door at the Dallas Affaires Cake Company. Everything, from the decor to the cake balls arranged delicately in the display cases, was absolutely adorable. And the smell was divine. To my left, I saw a bride excitedly discussing her dream wedding cake with the wedding consultant. Cassandra, the manager, was helping decorate a cake, but immediately stopped to chat with me about being listed in the free Lakewood BubbleLife business directory. Warm and friendly service with an adorable store and elegant cakes? I may be stopping in often to buy some cupcakes and other decadent delights!”

“Great Experience. I came in without an appointment to see about a cake for my mother’s 70th birthday. Cassandra was very nice and helpful. My concern was that I needed a cake that didn’t have traditional sugary frosting as my mom doesn’t like all that sugar. Cassandra said they could make it with a whipped cream frosting which was PERFECT. Plus, her vision for my custom design was spot on! Everyone at the party asked where the cake came from and my mom could not have been more pleased with the taste! They made a very picky old lady very happy and I will use them again! My service was great!”
